Technical Support Assistant

As a Technical Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our extensive customer base as well as offering pre-sales support. You will be the front-line point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues and will work closely with our team of engineers to resolve any technical problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
Provide detailed explanations and clear instructions to customers
Escalate complex issues to higher level technical support or external partners.
Document and update customer service records in our database.
Keep abreast of new technologies and products
Attend customer sites on request (via company pool vehicle.)
Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
Clean UK Driving Licence Essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience with basic IT troubleshooting and remote access tools
IT related qualifications are sought.

IT Field Engineer
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a new opportunity?
Join our growing IT team based in Corby, Northamptonshire.
In this role, you will be expanding the range of services offered by the business to include broader support such as on-site installations and operating system support.
This will include regular travel to customer sites throughout the UK, so a current driving license is essential.
You will be assisting the sales team with pre-sales technical support and then delivering and implementing solutions to customers on-site. At times, you will also provide post-sales support in conjunction with our warranty delivery team.
Candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience working with primarily Intel-based servers and storage, as well as a good knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and VM Ware.
