Key Features and Advantages

Single socket Intel processor support

The PowerEdge T360 supports one Intel Xeon 6300 series processor or one Intel Xeon E-2400 series processor with up to eight cores, or an Intel Pentium G7400 or G7400T processor with up to two cores. This delivers reliable and cost effective compute performance for everyday business workloads.

Space efficient tower chassis

A 4.5U tower server design that fits neatly into offices, shops, remote locations and near edge environments where rack space is not available. An optional filter bezel helps protect the system from dust and grease for more reliable operation.

DDR5 memory support up to 128 GB

Four DDR5 ECC UDIMM slots support up to 128 GB of memory, with up to 32 GB per DIMM at speeds up to 4400 MT per second. This is suitable for modern workloads, caching and responsive business applications.

Flexible storage options

Front bays support a range of configurations, including: Up to 4 x 3.5 inch SATA HDD or SSD, up to 64 TB; Up to 8 x 3.5 inch SAS or SATA HDD or SSD, up to 128 TB; Up to 8 x 2.5 inch SAS or SATA HDD or SSD using 3.5 inch to 2.5 inch adapters, up to 61.44 TB. Optional BOSS N1 with dual M.2 NVMe SSDs is available for fast and resilient operating system boot.

PCIe expansion for networking and storage

Provides up to four PCIe expansion slots, including one PCIe Gen5 x16 slot and three PCIe Gen4 slots. This gives room for additional network adapters, storage controllers or other expansion cards without over complicating the system.

Efficient power and cooling

Available with a 450 W Platinum cabled power supply or 600 W and 700 W hot swap redundant Platinum or Titanium options. Cooling is provided by up to two cabled fans, with one standard fan and an optional high performance fan, for energy efficient and reliable operation in office or small server room environments.

Optional GPU support

The T360 supports a single 60 W single width GPU, providing an option for light acceleration, graphics or video workloads where required.

Enterprise grade security and management

Integrated iDRAC9 with the Dell OpenManage portfolio provides remote monitoring, automation and lifecycle management. Security features include silicon root of trust, Secure Boot, cryptographically signed firmware, data at rest encryption with self encrypting drives, secured component verification, secure erase, system lockdown and TPM 2.0 options.

Recommended Workloads / Best Fit Applications

The Dell EMC PowerEdge T360 is optimised for a wide range of enterprise workloads and applications:

File and Print Serving

With up to 8 drive bays and flexible SAS, SATA and NVMe storage options, the T360 is well suited for centralised file storage, backup and print services in office and branch environments.

Web Hosting and Email

Intel Xeon processors with DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen5 expansion deliver reliable performance for web servers, email systems and intranet applications without the noise and complexity of rack infrastructure.

Light Virtualisation

Up to 128 GB DDR5 and flexible storage options make the T360 capable of running a small number of virtual machines under VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox for departmental or branch office workloads.

Small Business and Branch Office

Compact 4.5U tower form factor with quiet operation fits neatly into offices, shops and remote locations. Ideal for running ERP, CRM, directory services and everyday business applications.

Security and Edge Deployments

Silicon root of trust, Secure Boot, TPM 2.0 and optional self encrypting drives make the T360 suitable for security conscious edge, retail and remote deployments where data protection is essential.
